Highway, Tokyo
Jealous of Veronique being able to almost walk to Monumenta and endlessly admire the magical Buren installation. His columns in the Palais Royal have always made me feel happy. I go see them whenever I’m in Paris, no matter how short is my stay. I remember heated debates against them when they first were installed. I always loved them and I like how they became, almost incidentally, an artsy playground for children. Needless to say I took countless images of them and it was very hard not to use any to answer this week. But… I refrained from the obvious and chose instead a construction truck I snapped from a bus, on my way to the airport, just before leaving Tokyo. – Carine #87.
